A number of pupils from Hollybrook Academy were fortunate to make a return visit to The Burns Birthplace Museum and Burns Cottage in Alloway.
Assisted by funding from The Jean Armour Burns Trust the pupils spent a wonderful day exploring the historical connections between Robert Burns and Alloway. The pupils, under the guidance of Mrs Patricia Maclean, have worked hard this year with their endeavours being rewarded by a special day out at these iconic venues. Their educational adventure was blessed, remarkably, by the sun shining all day!
Mrs Maclean expressed her sincere thanks to the Board of the Trust for their funding assistance.
